Esme Paper Mache Bowl - Large

Handcrafted from textural paper mache, the Esme Paper Mache Bowl has a chalky, lime-wash like texture and impressive scale. Display it on a side console or as a dining table centre piece to bring an organic warmth to your space.

Made from recycled newspaper, it is entirely natural and sustainable. First the newspaper is mixed with water, then chalk and tree sap crystals are added to turn the substance into a clay-like material. The pulp is kneaded into chapati-like forms, then rolled and moulded into the sculptural objects we love. There is no firing, no power used, and the process is entirely eco-friendly. Porous in nature, paper mache should not be exposed to liquids.
