The latest issue of Dabble Magazine went live on Thursday and its dedicated to the gorgeous city of Barcelona, one of my most favourite cities in the world.
During my trip to Barcelona, I became obsessed with Gaudi, the famous Spanish architect. In a future blog post I will share all the pictures I took of the magnificent structures he designed, including Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia.
I highly recommend that you read this issue online and you may catch a glimpse of me on the streets of Barcelona!
I have great memoires of visiting the Museu Picasso and riding the Hop On Hop Off Tourist Bus….highly recommend doing this if you ever visit Barcelona.
And or course, inside the fabulous pages of the new issue of Dabble is my latest What’s Trending column where I showcase the powerful colour combination of yellow and grey!!
And if you missed last Tuesday’s episode of Dabble Day on Cityline where I talk about my 3 favourite home decor trends for fall, then click on the picture below and it will take you to my segment. Yup, I talk about yellow and grey.
Let me know what you think of the latest issue and be sure to subscribe to Dabble so you automatically receive the next issue in your inbox!!

Hi, with Christmas just around the corner, I have been super crazy busy getting ready for the holidays and trying to tie up some loose ends with design clients this past week. And I am pretty sure you would say the same thing back to me.
So below is a gorgeous tree for every day that I missed since my last Christmas Inspiration blog post ! Hope you enjoy these Christmas trees from around the world. Some of these trees are utterly amazing and creative. So it’s nice to take just a little break from all the hoopla, and just sit back and take in the magic of Christmas.
The Capitol Christmas tree in Washington , D.C. , is decorated with 3,000 ornaments that are the handiwork of U.S. schoolchildren. Encircling evergreens in the ‘Pathway of Peace’ represent the 50 U.S. states.
The world’s largest Christmas tree display rises up the slopes of Monte Ingino outside of Gubbio, in Italy ‘s Umbria region. Composed of about 500 lights connected by 40,000 feet of wire, the ‘tree’ is a modern marvel for an ancient city
A Christmas tree befitting Tokyo ‘s night-time neon display is projected onto the exterior of the Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka.
Illuminating the Gothic facades of Prague’s Old Town Square, and casting its glow over the manger display of the famous Christmas market, is a grand tree cut in the Sumava mountains in the southern Czech Republic.
Venice ‘s Murano Island renowned throughout the world for its quality glasswork is home to the tallest glass tree in the world. Sculpted by master glass blower Simone Cenedese, the artistic Christmas tree is a modern reflection of the holiday season.
Moscow celebrates Christmas according to the Russian Orthodox calendar on Jan. 7. For weeks beforehand, the city is alive with festivities in anticipation of Father Frost’s arrival on his magical troika with the Snow Maiden. He and his helper deliver gifts under the New Year tree, or yolka, which is traditionally a fir.
The largest Christmas tree in Europe (more than 230 feet tall) can be found in the Praca do Comercio in Lisbon , Portugal . Thousands of lights adorn the tree, adding to the special enchantment of the city during the holiday season.
‘Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree’: Even in its humblest attire, aglow beside a tiny chapel in Germany ‘s Karwendel mountains, a Christmas tree is a wondrous sight.
Ooh la la Galeries Lafayette! In Paris , even the Christmas trees are chic. With its monumental, baroque dome, plus 10 stories of lights and high fashion, it’s no surprise this show-stopping department store draws more visitors than the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower
In addition to the Vatican ‘s heavenly evergreen, St. Peter’s Square in Rome hosts a larger-than-life nativity scene in front of the obelisk.
The Christmas tree that greets revelers at the Puerta del Sol is dressed for a party. Madrid ‘s two-week celebration makes millionaires along with merrymakers. On Dec. 22, a lucky citizen will win El Gordo (the fat one), the world’s biggest lottery.
A token of gratitude for Britain ‘s aid during World War II, the Christmas tree in London ‘s Trafalgar Square has been the annual gift of the people of Norway since 1947.
Drink a glass of gluhwein from the holiday market at the Romer, Frankfurt ‘s city hall since 1405 and enjoy a taste of Christmas past
Against a backdrop of tall, shadowy firs, a rainbow trio of Christmas trees lights up the night (location unknown).
Deep sigh. Ok, 10 more days!!! Back to panic mode. Gotta go!!!

OMG….it’s the middle of September and I have finally gotten myself in some kind of order to begin blogging on a regular basis again in the Glam Blog.
After returning from my fabulous trip to Portugal (I’ve included some pics my hubby took during our trip) I had to jump right back into client projects that had been on hold until my return.
In addition, I had to finish up my new column for the latest issue of Dabble Magazine and tape a new decor segment on Cityline. More about this in my next blog posting. And then of course, there was the dreaded week of back-to-school!
I hope you all had a fabulous summer and are raring to go for a fantastic fall season!!
Welcome back and thanks for sticking with me and the Glam Blog!!
Ola, I’m currently vacationing in beautiful Portugal so the Glam blog is on a bit of a hiatus right now.
But I had to share the view from my hotel window in the Algarve.
See you soon!!

Maybe I need to win the lottery because lately I’ve been obsessed with the interior decor of private jets and mega-big yachts. And dahling, if you are using one of these as your mode of transportation, than you ARE definitely living the GLAMOROUS Life!!!
Last year I wrote a post about glam decor in private jets….you can read it here. For today’s Glamour Friday post, I thought I would take us on a little cruise in the Fortunato. It’s a gorgeous “little” yacht – just over 200 ft. long and is the perfect size to host 12 BFFs.
I fell in love with the interior because it was very nicely accessorized with colours I love…..take a look:
I adore the combined living and dining room. The coral and sea blue cushions on the sectional is the perfect spot to cozy up with friends over drinks. And the blue striped velvet chairs in the dining room are to die for!! And every glamorous room needs a chandelier!! And the cream and brown striped carpet is utter perfection!!
Now this would be my master bedroom. I love all the honeysuckle cushions on that fabulous bed. OH, and look at the cranberry chaise built for two!! And you got to love how my television is hidden at the end of the bed in that beautiful built-in.
Wouldn’t you want to enjoy a wonderful brunch on this deck, inhaling the sea air while admiring that gorgeous view? I know I would. Ahhhhhh….oh well, a girl can only dream BIG dreams!!
Have a great weekend!! And don’t forget to buy a lottery ticket!!
