Christine Da Costa is an Interior Designer, writer and blogger. A self-confessed ‘glamour girl’, Christine loves to incorporate a piece of glamour in each of her clients’ homes – whether it’s with a dramatic focal point, creating a statement with custom furniture, wall coverings and colour or simply by rearranging a room’s layout! As a result, clients are guaranteed to love their new space. Her blog, appropriately called “The Glam Blog” is all about The Glam!! This is where she takes her readers into glamorous rooms via Glamour Friday posts, marrying fashion and home decor through her “Decorate as you Dress” posts or just talking about glamorous events or projects she is working on.
Christine also writes a column called “What’s Trending” in Interior Design for Kimberley Seldon’s online magazine, Dabble Mag, and has appeared on the television show Cityline & CHCH News talking about home decor and trends.
As an interior designer, Christine knows how to create beautiful, stylish spaces while maintaining tight budgets, balancing multiple priorities, and building relationships with contractors and clients.
Christine’s background is quite varied…she’s dabbled in theatre and television acting, acquired her fashion merchandising diploma and worked in the fashion industry for a few years before deciding to go back to University and obtaining her Bachelor of Business Commerce and an MBA. After approximately 10 years of marketing nationally recognized consumer brands, she decided to pursue her passion of interior decorating and design.
Christine loves helping frustrated homeowners create their space into stylish, yet functional rooms that reflect their own style and personality.
Christine resides in Oakville, Ontario with her husband and 2 little glamour girls.
“I think of decorating as fashion – shoes no longer need to match the belt.”
